Hi,

Although it did look like this roundabout was mapped incorrectly when comparing to bing or MassGIS aerial imagery it has actually been circularized since the aerial imagery was last updated.

While I do not know what the exact shape is, I do know that it is now a circle and no longer an ovalish shape like is shown on bing or MassGIS.

I wonder if it would be possible to revert this changeset so the map can be as accurate as possible until we can get some more up to date aerial imagery?

It looks like something went wrong with your edit and there is now a shop in the middle of a major road.

From the address you specified I am guessing that Down Range Sports is located in this building: way/211965825
If so would it be possible for you to move the node to the correct location?

Also it does not seem like you specified what kind of shop Down Range Sports is. From the website it looks like shop=weapons would be appropriate.

I just took a look at this on MassGIS Level3 parcels which shows that there is a parcel that is listed as 1 Hygate Road in addition to a right of way where the road would be. I think that you are correct in thinking that when the lots were created someone decided to name the parcel as such. However, the land was never developed and the road was never built.

Given that the road only seems to exist on a parcel map and not in the real world I will delete it.

What is your source for Hygate Road? It is not visible on any aerial imagery that I am aware of.

Hi,

Although this building way/1115259523 shows up on the 2021 MassGIS Orthos, it was demolished in spring of 2022 after falling into disrepair.

This changeset changes two small sections of MA2 from highway=trunk to highway=motorway as there is no discernible difference (road width, # of lanes, speed limit) between the sections that were tagged as trunk and the sections that were and still are tagged as motorway. If there is a reason why the highway=trunk sections were tagged as such please let me know and I can change it back.

This changeset removes name=Pride Park from way/29755982 as the only Pride Park that I could find was Pride Park Playground way/1055530356 which is on a different parcel then way/29755982 If anyone is unhappy or can find a source that refers to way/29755982 as Pride Park feel free to change it back.
