Das Tagging place=town in OSM hat nichts mit Stadtrechten in Deutschland zu tun. Es orientiert sich eher an Bevölkerungszahlen und ist daher auf eine Gemeinde anwendbar.
"place=municipality" ist ein erfolgloser und aufgegebener Proposal von 2008.
Bevor du administrativ wichtige Dinge wie Placenodes auf ungebräuchliche Werte änderst, solltest du das mit der OSM-Community diskutieren.

Anders als in Berlin und inzwischen auch in Sachsen, dürfen wir das Geoportal Brandenburg nicht für OpenStreetMap nutzen. die Lizenzbedingungen sind nicht kompatibel.

Gut, viele Dienste vom Geoportal Sachsen dürfen in OSM verwendet werden. Bedingung ist dabei aber, die Quelle anzugeben, am besten im 'source'-Tag des Changesets. In diesem Fall sollte dort stehen: "GeoSN
WMS WebAtlasSN"

Hallo Kiekin, abweichend zu deinem Changeset-Kommentar hast du hier keine Straßen berichtigt, sonden die Place-Node von Panketal von 'town' auf 'municipality' geändert.
Letztere ist wenig gebräuchlich und im Wiki schlecht definiert.
Was ist der Anlass dieser Änderung, und warum denkst du, dass er auf diesen Fall zutrifft? Was war an 'town' falsch?

Laut VIZ Berlin gibt es dort noch Sperrungen bis 11/2017.

Eine Fahrtrichtung war vor zwei Monaten wieder befahrbar, wie ich in way/27116300 schon aktualisiert hatte. Welchen Fortschritt die andere gemacht hat, muss vor Ort überprüft werden.

Yes, as said, that should be fine as these are individual data and not structured collections. (Probably our messages crossed.)

@ti-lo, as said in another comment, snappy remarks don't help.
Nakaner and I were talking about business directories providing structured listings. I.e. facts that somebody else has collected in such way.
An individual address from an individual homepage should be fine, in particular if you also add the website that proves the source.

I'm just keen on keeping OSM data to comply with its own license.
Thanks for sharing the link, certainly thing will change in future. Please consider that the _existence_ of OSM, by legally surveying data, has contributed a lot to governments opening their geo-data nowadays.

Another reason not to copy from business listings is that they contain an awful amount of outdated information, which we don't want to be copied into OSM.
In general, snappy comments do not help to resolve issues.

Yes I have seen they advertise quads on their website. but as you are armchair mapping, how would you know that they not also sell 2-wheel bikes locally?

Since you were removing the shop=motorcycle, how did you verify that the shop does _not_ sell motorcycles, beside the quads?

The value 'atv' is poorly chosen, as the acronym is not obvious for anybody not into quad cycling.
(The wiki page shop=atv was created by yourself earlier this year as wiki user Rtfm)

You must not copy data from other databases and business directories without explicit permission.
