| 72200712 | I have checked the area against aerial imagery, and it looks being mapped correctly. The river has a considerable, and therefore mappable, width (e.g. 13 m or 43 feet). This was done here, using multipolygons to represent the woods in the park area and an island in the river. It is tagged water=river, which is the modern version to do so. You might have a different concept what a riverbank is, in OSM it just means the area that is filled with water from the river. Please do not remove any water polygons other mappers have drawn. This is not just a ditch. |
