| 1519736 | AlanHarder | I don't believe this trail is continuous. I hiked the ridge from Basin Peak to Castle Peak and continued southeast. The trail ended with cliff on 2 sides and near-cliff on a 3rd. The ridge trail coming from Frog Lake Cliff was visible in the distance, but there was a sizable section of volcanic rock that appeared impassable. I reversed course and exited via the trail southwest from Castle Peak back to the PCT. |
