The PR12 is currently closed north west of this point, to Encumeada (I was there today and saw the sign blocking the path). It is still passable from Boca da Corrida up to this point.

The correct route at this point is very different to the marked path for Vereda do Pico Cidrão. The marked path is not passable and would be dangerous to attempt. The correct route is to continue along the spur towards the waterfall until this note pin position, then turn south and find a makeshift ladder which needs to be climbed, then continue around the path which will turn you north again, then pass over the top of the marked waterfall in a northerly direction (this is a narrow ledge with a wire handrail to hold). Continue north-north-east until you reach the main path again, as marked.
