Swan Road has been gated off and blocked for many years. What was the road is gradually returning to nature in the area of the gate. The tagged location is approximately, give or take a few hundred feet, where the gate is located.

Plans exist to convert this segment of Eastrail to a signalized crossing. According to Eastrail website, this work should be completed sometime in summer 2025
