When creating road segments within the City of Ottawa, please be sure to set the name:fr tag on the street. I have added the missing tag.

BTW, I did make the change earlier this week.

The city is not consistent on if "des" (or "du" etc) are part of the name or not. I asked the City (3+ months ago... around the time of this edit) for the entire list of official city street names, in both English and French formats... I am still waiting. (and GeoOttawa is not always accurate either).

For this edit (and several others) I was assuming that the street name was more correct than the addresses on the buildings. In this case I was probably wrong. Need to switch both the street and all the addresses.

When I get the official list from the city, I will be reviewing all names.

I will let you know when I hear back from them. Some of my requests to the City seem to take months, so don't expect anything quick. I will update here when I get a reply.

Nevermind on the photo... I just sent email to the city asking them what's up with the inconsistency.

The new blue blade sign is a good reference, I agree. If you happen to have a photo of it, I would like to forward it to the city to complain about their database being out of date.

Note: I have seen instances where the new blade signs are actually wrong and the city has had to re-do them.

You renamed "Caroltodd Drive" to "Carol Todd Drive", but you didn't change all the address points nor the French Name. The city refers to this road by "Caroltodd Drive". Are you sure this change is correct?

Another road renamed without the addresses fixed. Updated now.

Addresses were not renamed at the same time the street was renamed. Done.

You cannot add addr: tags to a service road.. I added it to an an address point nearby.

You cannot put a house number on an entire road. I will remove it. (addr:housenumber=432), as well as the postal code.

Removed a bunch of stuff with name=something. Please use the correct tags... If unsure, ask.

Please add a path (desire line) if there is one here. Adding this node is not helpful.

The path already exists here. Not sure what you're trying to indicate. Deleting this.

The church already exists. Why adding a duplicate. I am removing this.

If there is an entrance here, then add an appropriate path (eg "desire line"). This tag is not valid.

The Beaver Boxing Club already exists on the map. We don't need 2 of them. Removing this one.

Did you notice the bus stop is already there? Why did you add another one? I am removing this.
