Hi 19timber96,
Thanks for your efforts in mapping forests, I appreciate it. However, there's been at least 7 people that are not quite OK with the style how you draw and handle these polygons. We've discussed it on OSM US Slack and are leaning more towards reverting those edits.
I don't want to discourage you from further editing in OSM, so I think a good start for you is to look around and see how other landcover areas are mapped. Talk to people and ask them for feedback and read wiki to get a better sense of what is expected.
Cheers,
Mashin

Hi, roads are labeled as ownership being private, but the access is unrestricted.

Hi, when drawing elements like fairways, greens, etc. do not create overlaps between them.
Please see here for more details:

Hi Alizar19,
the roof structures that you created (building=roof) are meant for buildings that have no sidewalls and have only a roof. For example covered gas stations. see. building=roof

I assume you wanted to draw different parts of this school building. For that you have to use building parts tagged as 'building:part=yes'. See this wiki page for more details.
building:part=*

Hi,
here again your forest areas overlap with reads and ponds.
way/1239147752

Could you please draw the areas in a way that they stop at the edge of a road/highway. Also if there are other non-forested areas inside the forest (e.g. ponds, swamps,..) please create a multipolygon instead and add those areas as 'inner' member.

Hi, I noticed that you are adding a lot of forest polygons over CT. I am just wondering how do you decide on the shape of those areas? I personally noticed a few issues in those edits:

1) Your wood polygons overlap areas where there are no trees e.g. roads or water areas.
This polygon (way/1238124492) overlaps with Valley Road and Old Mill Road. And also overlaps with Norvein Hier Dam water area (way/1073434387).

2) This wood polygon (way/1238124494) you attached to 'Brinton Road' and now they share a node.

3) Many of the polygons that you created have their shape is very coarse. Like how did you decide on the shape of the polygons that I linked? From what I see in the imagery, the trees continue to be around houses and all the way to Sperry Road.

Cheers

Hi and welcome to OSM.
Is this business really a restaurant? Name sounds very unusual and the building appears to be a residential house.

Hi. The question is what is it called now. If no one knows what 'Rock House' is, it wouldn't be useful to have that as a name.

Hi and welcome to OSM!
Thanks for your edits, but please be careful. I noticed that a lot of times you created duplicate objects.
e.g.
here you created this node:
node/11017175927
Which is a duplicate of the hospital that exists as an area:

Hi Jack, I feel like these might not be really a park. Park is more like when there are trees, paths to walk on, maybe benches to sit and relax. These areas look to me as more oriented towards sport use.
