Hi Kevin, I saw that you removed admin tags from some of the boundary ways. Are we now keeping them only on relations? If yes, I would then go and remove them in CT as well.

I agree, it was really a bad idea to dump all that data into OSM unannounced. Though IMO if they have permission from the data owner at hand it seems like a less stress on the database to fix the overlaps and tags than to import-delete-reimport million nodes.

@woodpeck Please don't. Let's wait until a response. If the license is compatible, then geodz can have a chance to fix the data and tags (and create an import wiki page).

This changeset should be reverted. It created duplicate lakes in Canada.

I suggest using a different aerial imagery - "Esri World Imagery (Clarity) Beta". This will allow you to see through tree canopies and reveal that there is no lake or forest in those places that you marked.

you actually placed the position of your business in the middle of a golf course. I think the correct location is supposed to be more south near Farmington Avenue.
Also what type of business is this? Without classification the data will be of no use.

Removed a wikipedia tag. Maybe that was it.

For embarkments, we have `embarkment=yes` or `man_made=embarkment`, for tree lines we have `natural=tree_row`, for gravel we have `surface=gravel`, etc.

Just a small feedback to your edits that I could see:
1) The name=* tag is reserved only for the actual name of the object e.g. The Empire State Building. Descriptive names can typically be decomposed into other individual properties/tags.
2) Please don't delete existing objects no matter how insignificant or unimportant they might seem.
3) When you merged the two building parts into single barn you also merged their heights, which caused a loss of information. The correct way to do it is to keep the building:part objects untouched and create an combined outline polygon/area tagged as building=barn here: way/867587367

I looked at that location with the most recent imagery, but the railways are not there any more. You are probably using outdated data. I suggest using CTECO:2019 imagery or Maxar Premium.
