I can't agree with the way it's presented in the screenshot unfortunately, mostly for the safety reason, as someone stranger might think there is a turn right at the end of the bridge and he will slow down and break then maybe someone might hit him from the back because no one slow down here.
If the way it was before not the best way, how about this?

Hello MountSuckling, in this changeset you have disconnect the 301-2 street from the main road. on the ground it is connected and open. I assume you only looked for the sat image and thought that maybe it's closed, but that sat image is old, it doesn't have the passing bridge too if you looked. I just fixed this changeset and reconnect the street to the main road in changeset/148463695.

Yesterday, I edited this street to make it suitable, matching the way it is on the ground. Unfortunately, today you reverted my edit and made it incorrect again.

The cars going southbound on Damascus Street merge with the cars from the Alawi bridge, and both merge into one street before splitting again into a tunnel and a surface-level street that leads into an intersection. Therefore, splitting the roads the way you did here with a link in the middle is incorrect, as it involves two streets merging into one and then splitting again into two again. The cars, for example, going down from the bridge smoothly proceed to the intersection without changing streets with a link or something.

Could you please take another look and perhaps edit this changeset?
