I had a through look around; pretty sure it's now not where the photo shows it to have been.
Will resurvey, to be sure. The node position is incorrect, still.

JT have (in the past couple years) not only decommissioned, but entirely removed a whole bunch of them, box and all (you'd think we'd follow the UK's example and reuse them to host defibrillators). I've been trying to survey the original sites to mark-as-removed the sacrificial ones, so that normies aren't misled when querying their app for the nearest phone.

While they're not easy to spot, this one was particularly mysterious & difficult.

Some do still exist, seemingly maintained, though.

JT's excuse seems to be the cost of upkeep, when usage is declining (because most everyone has their own portable phone, now). Yet, they set the price for local calls to be zero, and continue to price-hike on their other services (especially fibre). So, 🤷‍♂️.

Similar with the many post boxes which are no longer collected from. At least those still exist.

I'll get to them all, eventually.
