I wouldn't say this is "incorrect" so soon. If you look at the wiki description, "An exit from a motorway or other major road." and "along a highway with named or numbered junctions where a driver can legally exit" could be interpretated to this being technically valid. I see such usage in other countries, especially Japan.

In Hong Kong, there are major road tunnels and their highways designated as "Tunnel Area" with motorway-like restrictions. Currently those are classified as `motorway`. However, a mapper recently edited contrary to this convention. I have been wanting to change it, so I took the chance to apply a `motorroad:tunnel=yes` in addition to the `motorroad`

This is plain wrong. Please pay attention to the Tunnel Area limit of Lion Rock Tn Rd, and u-turn slip on Hung Mui Muk Rd. That should also be a `motorway_link` on your side.

Look I get what you mean, but that's Taiwan usage. In Hong Kong official terminology, "快速公路" means "Expressway" (uppercase, proper term). There's no "高速公路" nor "freeway" here.
