For Nominatim specifically, the problem is `=village` & `=hamlet` are ranked 18, while `=suburb` to `=quarter` & `=neighbourhood` are 20 to 22.

The other issue is often Sam Ka Tsuen is referred to as the representative village of Lei Yue Mun

Checking the history, now I see the issue here is that one was originally for the Lei Yue Mun Villages group, the other for the area. It's not straightfoward to characterize this relationship as to how a "village" (or `=hamlet`) should be modeled.

You can look at the surrounding objects as examples of what's already tagged.

Ok I found it now. Please provide info in your changeset, and mention to the local community next time. There are some that should be `water=stream` (?), and some unclosed linear `waterway=`, among other issues.

That's an old changeset. There's usually no `ref=` and `network=` for the smaller outlying island ferry service ("kaito" street crossings), both scheduled and on-demand ones.
