I would like to mention using `route=highway` for this would be perfect for the purposes in HK. I believe there are actually no "street name" for it. Only the tunnel structure is named for itself, and for Tunnel Area according to the Road Tunnels (Government) Ordinance. Government records seem to have a mistake, or procedure problem.

I suggest to instead use `route=highway` for roads split into multiple sections for addressing purposes. This also matches how there are no "street" named Prince Edward Rd on its own.

`=street` should be used for all road names, especially in Hong Kong. There are in fact no "road names" in HK, only street names. These "Highway" use the same street name signs. They can have address assigned, ie 668 Tsing Sha Hwy for the Administration Building, and 7 Lion Rock Tunnel Rd.

Please avoid deleting directly. What that easily causes is you forgetting to add `crossing:island=yes` back.

`route=tram` is for the route of each actual tram service line. This needs to be either `type=network` , or `route=railway`

2. `loc_name:yue-Latn-jyutping=`

156208235

2. The only things you could add is `name:yue-Latn-jyutping=` for the romanization, and `loc_name:etymology=` . But they still aren't very needed. Especially the latter you can add on Wikidata. . name:etymology=*

1. Please use `loc_name=` , as this is not the most "common" , nor an officially recognized name. I don't know if you are from Hong Kong, but even people here may not know there's a specific legal meaning to streets and street names. `name=` should be reserved for that. It's the one signposted on street name signs, which is also the decisive factor for `name=` from the ground-truth principle in OSM.
2. Please don't do transliteration by translating literally. In OSM, you shouldn't attempt to synthesize names in other languages. It's perfect to have only `loc_name=電車路` + `loc_name:yue=電車路` for a nickname . No need to make up a `loc_name:en=` yourself.

(Not to mention this is a `=pedestrian` street)

156162145

Please don't use `route=foot` . That's for signposted walking routes. A `=footway` should still use `type=street` (not `type=route` + `route=street` ) when it's named on its own.

And changing to `=footway` here...

156087737

You are suspected of vandalism. False upload comments. Changing `tourism=hotel` + `building=hotel` to `=restaurant` , and adding unrelated `surface=grass` .

156087474

No, it's not `amenity=stadium_seating`

156087442

Why are you deleting it?

156087200

!. Your upload comment is false. I don't see any `=hospital` .
2. "The Metropolis" refers to the complex including mall, hotel, and office
3. Please don't blindly fix warnings, or change to your mind. The Stabling Sidings covers the entire area.

156086970

What is this nonsense? Why are you changing `building=apartments` to `landuse=` ?

When you are doing a worldwide mass retagging, you can't simply go "I have given my argument and am not really in the mood to continue the discussion." . There's a responsibility to bear.
`lit=yes` is generic. It doesn't say whether it's lighting up at dark only. It would include at least `=24/7` all the time , if not more.
`lit=yes` is an initial level of detail. This is affected how most people may not care to add anything more than that. It doesn't mean the Denmark users aren't allowed add `=sunset-sunrise` themselves.
Your question of `=sunrise-sunset` for eclipse can be asked. But it needs to be asked first, not only after making the edits.
