Hello zstadler,
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to fix that yet because I’ve been a bit busy. I am currently leading the Africa Map Cup due I’ve added this task to my to‑do list. If you can go ahead and fix it, that would be wonderful. Thank you so much for your support.
Best regards,
KingVik

I am using three sources - Mapillary data, Bing and ESRI imagery.
I am focusing on improving eight aspects of lane counts, which include motorways and their links, primary roads and their links, secondary roads and their links and trunk roads and their links. These highways are clearly visible on satellite imagery and are also available on Mapillary.
If you have any concerns, please let me know.
Best regards.

Dear Maryna,
Thank you for reaching out to me. That was an oversight that occurred before I split the upstream road. You are absolutely right and I have now made the necessary adjustment; the issue is fixed.
Please feel free to let me know if you notice any other issues. We are improving the data quality together, and I truly appreciate your collaboration and feeback.
Best regards,
KingVik

Dear Lou,
Thank you for reaching out. When the quality checks were run, several issues were flagged with highway classifications.
In many cases, roads tagged as primary, secondary, or even tertiary were not aligned with the proper hierarchy. For example, some primary roads were incorrectly terminated without transitioning through secondary roads in the expected order.
Mapillary data (Like https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=1432937937770550&focus=photo) revealed that much of the tagging was inaccurate and required modification. Additionally, some references on the wiki (highway=*) showed inconsistencies where streets were incorrectly tagged, for instance, roads that should not have been classified as residential.
If you have a dataset or local knowledge that provides stronger evidence, I would greatly appreciate your input. The goal of these modifications is to improve data quality and I am open to suggestions or corrections that can make the map more accurate.
Please feel free to reach out anytime.
Best regards,
KingVik

Dear Bert Araali, can you Kindly revisit this and give it a proper tagging, I think this field or local knowledge, one without the knowledge won't be able to fix this

Hi Alexis Giraud-Courtney (CoMaps),
Thank you for your updates on the changeset. However, I’ve noticed that some of the tags aren’t fitting properly several places tagged as building=residential are not actually residential. Most of these issues appear to stem from edits made during the 2023 EveryDoor campaign, which extended into or some of the ESA Hub countries. A number of new contributors added nodes incorrectly as building edits, and this has led to significant data quality challenges across the hub.

I’ve already addressed part of the issue in Rwanda, but some inconsistencies remain. I think it’d be best if we discuss this further in person. That way, we can agree on a more refined approach moving forward.
