A hedge/fence & rough ground blocks the public path/Thames Path recorded at this point.

[From the source to Cricklade] - the path is directed into the development {Bailiffe Piece] via the kissing gate and immediately left along an estate path and then out though the hedge via a gate to the meadow - continuing to North Bridge.

Will aim to upload my track at some point.

The SWCP local signage & website takes the path [going west] to here and then around the harbour via Quay Road to Charlestown Road. ie NOT behind the cottages on the east side of the dock.

According to local signage & Hampshire CC route maps [ https://www.hants.gov.uk/thingstodo/countryside/walking/wayfarerswalk-kingsclere ] - this secrion of path is not part of the Wayfarer's Walk . Coming south - the published path leaves the nearby A30 junction - goes along the north side of Peak Copse, over the footbridge & down the road to Kempshott Park* & rejojns this path on Down Street. [This secrtion could be used is the gates to Kempshott Park are closed - which is probably unlikely]

This well used track is the course of the England Coast Pant and not the path shown to the north & recorded as ECP [Nov 2019]

The ground signage at Stolford points east *along the track on top of the floodbank* to Steart car park. This section [to the north of the track] is NOT signed as part of the ECP on the ground and there s no used course, The area this section crosses contains several wide & deep ditches. Check with either Natural England or the LS Definitive Map. Current OS Landranger [Nov 2019] shows the ECP course along the track.
