Just wanted to bring to your attention that combining road sections can adversely impact tags on the ways, as well as relations which rely on separate road sections.

In this case, the sections of the same road were split to facilitate lane and turn:lane tag changes, and add turn restriction and destination_sign relations. I have reverted the section combine in changeset changeset/84226052

Please be careful when combining roads as you continue to make excellent contributions to OSM data.

Thank you for reaching out! The set of 20 changesets was intended to update access=destination tags added by members of the Microsoft Open Maps Team prior to the talk-au discussion and bring them inline with current community standards based on such.

After speaking with the original mapper of this way, Aleksandar Matejevic, the access=destination tag was intended to capture access restrictions from the gate visible in LPI aerial imagery. I mistakenly believed it was based on a Local Traffic Only sign which, per our current understanding of the talk-au thread, should be modeled as a motor_vehicle:advisory=destination.

I have removed the destination tag entirely, as it no longer seems to fit with the requirements for access=destination or motor_vehicle:advisory=destination. On Monday, I will review the other changesets to ensure that edits made by our team match current modeling standards.
