Please don't use descriptions as names. The tag will tell us it is a pharmacy, no need to add it to the name field too. Otherwise, keep up the good work :)

I thought we agreed to not use highway=living_street because that legal classification does not exist in Thailand at this time. I have been fixing thousands of roads in the last year, and I just now noticed that you are changing them back. We may need a quick discussion on living_streets again, so we are not "fighting" each others edits. I'll start by seeing if I can find the original discussion about this.

I was doing some photo mapping in this area and noticed that you added what looks like a Kasikorn Bank but you named it Thai Farmers Bank Plc. I am not too familiar with Thai banks, is this the same thing?, Is the current naming correct, or did the bank change?

You can see their sign in this photo (on the right):

I just noticed that "is_in:state" does not contain the local language. Shouldn't "is_in:state" be in Thai?

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that tag,

I do not agree, but I also don't have very strong feelings about this. I'd like to hear some opinions from other people too. For now lets leave it as tertiary and see if anyone else ever brings it up again.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the classification is so much about the size of the road, as much as it is about the importance of the road. In terms of navigation, these roads are "minor". You are correct that they a physically big, which can be indicated by other tags such as lanes, width, surface, etc.

Hi Hjart,

I can see you have changed the roads on Avedoere Holme from unclassified to tertiary.

The wiki says this about tertiary:
"The highway=tertiary tag is used for roads connecting smaller settlements, and within large settlements for roads connecting local centres. In terms of the transportation network, OpenStreetMap "tertiary" roads commonly also connect minor streets to more major roads."

I am not sure that applies to all the roads there. Please let me know if I am missing something.

Even with a Thai keyboard, this doesn't seem to make sense. I thought they might have forgotten to switch the keyboard from English to Thai.

What does "12 พ" mean?

Thanks, it was supposed to be lanes=1. I have fixed it now.

@Russ, it also looks like you are still tagging residential roads as highway=service.

A few examples:
way/574902193
way/574902171

I keep fixing these as I come across them, I didn't realize you were still doing this.

If you think I am getting the tagging wrong regarding living_street and service, let me know and we can bring it to the forum for feedback.

@Russ, I can see you are still adding highway=living_street, I thought we all agreed that Thailand didn't have this legal definition yet and we should abstain from using it. I recommend that you use highway=residential.

What kind of attraction is Nam Ha MBCA? All results on Google is about the OSM data.

Updated the tagging and resolved the note. Thanks for drawing my attention to this note.

Are you sure there is a hostel inside the Bang Pakong Power Plant?

The signs double as a speed limit for clueless foreigners :)

Absolutely, I have fixed it, thanks Alex.

Awesome, you did some good research there.
