This section of Lothian Street is open to the public, however the northbound lane has a closure immediately to the south of Silk Place. IE. Northbound traffic between Miller Street and Silk Place must u-turn before Silk Place. The northbound lane between Silk Place and Victoria Street is accessed either via Silk Place or via U-turn from southbound lane.

Lothian Street is now exit only to Spencer Street and has no access from Spencer Street. Bicycles excepted.
