The map is very outdated here.
First, the area has been rebuilt, and King's College Circle is essentially a (raised tile) pedestrian circle.

Second, King's College Circle now directly goes into Galbraith road—what appears to be a crosswalk is now a curb (and Alumni Square), as the car-traffic road does not continue.

Finally, many trees, etc, have been built around the circle. Furthermore, there appear to be underpasses under construction.
