That area is a bit strange. I'm told it was once two ways. Maybe 10 years ago? West 138 from Broadway west is one way and 12th avenue which begins where 138 ends is also one way. I'll add those tags and the photo.

These emails are out of order sorry.
I added incline=down tag but didn't know the grade.
I took a photo to remind me the tunnel was lit and then noticed the clearances on the photo. The clearances differ by just two inches. I could go with maxheight on the lower.

| 147595543 | Bleachers is better. Thanks.
Will change it. |
Thanks. Will replace. This is exactly why i put the note tag there, because I knew there was a way to define the planting date but didn't know what it was.
I did a lot of digging and its real. Supposedly implemented in 2012. Only problem is no one in power knows about it.
Actually, I need to check first with Community Board 12 as this may have been an unaccepted proposal by DOT.
I did some poking around and in version #9 it was set to 20 after Jeanette Sadik Khan defined it as a neighborhood slow zone. This PDF url is provided: https://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/downloads/pdf/2012-06_inwood-neighborhood-slow-zone_cb12.pdf On my next visit I'll be looking for those 20mph signs but before will be sending a note to DOT about why the NYPD doesn't know about this.
Just called the 34th precinct. The person answering the phone said the speed limit on Dyckman north of Broadway was 25. What should be my next step? Determine who the editor was that set that speed limit and ask them?
Interesting. Now I'm curious if the police know about and have written any speeding tickets. With a limit that low its easy to find people going faster. I'll be checking the Open Records data and finding out when the speed limit was set to 20. Its particularly interesting that the city fought hard to get its overall limit down to 25mph.
There may be a problem in trying to put the bollard back because there are two arms spray painted lines on the hole in the ground so I think parks knows they need to fix something. I'll remove the note and watch it.
Noted. Yellow will be changed to yellow. Purpose of note: Is it a bollard if its always removed? Currently it seems like it could be a bollard but when I've seen it, its a hole in the ground and a bollard on the side.
Ok. Deleted it.
As I have not seen a speed limit sign of 20mph, that tag should likely be removed. The speed limit of Dyckman Street should be 25mph as that is speed limit of NYC. The only sign I have seen is a yellow one next to a speed bump sign and that is not a limit but a suggestion.

Ok, I found out the the marina toilet the parks guy told me about was locked at 1:45pm so I assume its seasonal. Should I put a fixme tag there also. Like parks water fountains, toilets in unheated buildings are never unlocked between frost dates. Generally parks toilet hours are capricious. They are unlocked and locked at unexpected times. I tried this toilet in the Parks building at about 4pm when I expected it should be unlocked and it was locked.
I'll check it out. There are three bridges there. There are no signs indicating max height. At the first two bridges there was incredible clearance but at the last there should have been a clearance sign but then it goes into a dead end and I'd guess no trucks ever go there, though it would be a great place to go to turn around.
There was a tag that said height=default. I removed it. Wouldn't have seen it if I hadn't been looking at the OSMCha view. Also that street is marked as 20mph. That's news to me. I'll look tomorrow.
