No problem at all. Keep up the great work! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi again. Just to let you know I've reverted the changeset and added the 'access=no' tag. It needed to be done quickly as this can affect routing for some users. For future reference, deleting highways isn't a good idea unless they actually don't exist. Try adding 'access=no' and see if it helps, but add other tags to allow the correct traffic types to use it. Thanks for chatting about this.

Hi. I'm not sure why van drivers are using this. I'm no expert, but I believe that in theory, I don't think routers for motor vehicles should be using anything marked as highway=bridleway, so it sounds like this is a problem with the routing software used by the van drivers, or possibly the van drivers have their software set up incorrectly, perhaps? The only other suggestion I have would be based on the second paragraph on this page: access=* which suggests that you could add access=no to this way, then also make sure that all permitted types of traffic (e.g. foot, bicycle, horse) are specified to override the blanket 'no' permission. Thankfully those were already set on this way, so in this specific case, once reverted, you could simply add 'access=no' and I think that should cover it. Hope that helps. :-)

Hi Wadie Chelly. I appreciate your comment on this changeset and reasons for deleting, but just deleting a way isn't the answer to stop this happening. Unless I'm mistaken, the way you deleted was marked as a public right of way (bicycle=yes,
designation =public_bridleway,
foot=designated,
highway=bridleway,
horse=designated,
prow_ref=Witnesham BR 30)
Assuming those are correct, then it's not private as you suggest. You should probably revert this change. Incidentally, it was already tagged as highway=bridleway, which, according to the wiki, automatically implies motor_vehicle=no. (See here highway=bridleway?uselang=en-GB ) By deleting it, you're removing it from the map for all map users, including pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders. Thanks :-)

Ah that's great. Hope you didn't mind me checking as I'm local and hadn't heard of it. And in the past I've accidentally pasted tags before without realising. Thanks for the quick reply!

Hi zaax. I know this is a really old changeset, but just wondering why you named the field 'Scotland'. I'm only asking in case it's a mistake. Many thanks. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Haha. I'm forever doing typos and having to go back later to correct them,๐Ÿ˜„and yes the url doesn't help. lol. Keep up the good work!

Nice work. Well spotted. Did you perhaps mean Hotel instead of Horel? ๐Ÿ˜‰Actually just noticed that the signage and website calls it "B&B Hotels" rather than "Hotel B&B". https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=52.052323748350375&lng=1.1397012249150293&z=17&dateFrom=2025-07-01&pKey=1297141558793715&focus=photo&x=0.6806568500520762&y=0.4137129472911903&zoom=0.9797225186766276
