I believe that there is an unmapped cyclepath (or at least very significant surfaced footpath) here (approx 500m long). Various very strong evidence of this available but I'm not local to check/survey. There's a high chance that the National Cycle Network (and local route) is actually signed along it not on the road (as currently mapped).
