När jag tittat igenom dina ändringar är det i princip uteslutande dubblering av redan existerande objekt. Det är alltså fingerad data för att "komma med i sökningar" i något program som du använder. Detta är inte okej att lägga till och ses dessvärre som vandalism, eftersom det rörs ihop med och sänker kvalitén på den data som redan existerar. Givetvis får du lösa problemet med ditt program som gör att sökfunktionen inte fungerar korrekt, inte stoppa in massa fingerad data i databasen.

@Glassman Obviously the name used is "Mexikanska golfen" and that most likely will never change. As for alt_name, that would imply it is used as an alternative. In this case, it's not, and again, probably never will be other than as a joke, bus this raises the question whether there is a tag for the concept of a loc_name in a foreign language. One could argue that loc_name:sv could be such a tag, in which case "Amerikanska golfen" would make sense, at least gramatically. As for whether we should tag these non-internationally regognised shenanigans at all is also up for debate.

Men ja, håller med, det är viktigare (eller viktigt och viktigt, generellt kvittar det så länge trappuppgången är den enda dörren med en adress) att tagga staircase på hus med flera dörrar nära inpå varandra, särskilt om trappuppgångarna är insprängda mellan butiker och annat. Men i t.ex. miljonprogramsområdena torde det vara ett säkert kort att anta att alla entréer som ligger på rad är trappuppgångar, till framtida redigeringar.

Snubblade över ditt enorma arbete med hastighetsgränser och grävde vidare och hittade den här ändringsuppsättningen. Bör inte många av entréerna taggas med `entrance=staircase` i stället? Main var förvisso fel, men `yes` är väldigt ospecifikt, särskilt när `staircase` finns till just för vanliga trappuppgångar i flerbostadshus. Tankar?

Sedan kan du knappast kalla den andra, helt korrekta metoden, att tagga GC-banor "nybörjarfel". Det är inte mer rätt att tagga dem som generisk "path" än cykelbana.

Ja, notes finns ju för bra-att-ha-information som inte ska konsumeras av datakonsumenter. oneway=no har redan bytts ut mot =yes, så det räcker inte. Jag befarar att detsamma hade gällt not:oneway, om det inte hade kompletterats av en förklaring, därav note-taggen. Särskilt eftersom många av dem mycket riktigt ser ut att vara enkelriktade och att det är en vanlig missuppfattning.

I'm correcting footway tagging around the world and stumbled upon your edits here. I'm a little confused as to what is going on. All these highway=footpath that look like highway=service_road (which another user already corrected some to), and then a path with vehicle=yes (then it wouldn't really be a path, again, a service road or another road type), and disconnected sidewalks next to the paths... Is there a particular reason you are not correcting the warnings that come up and tag the ways according to the presets?

Okej, har ändrat alla matställen och biljettkiosker enligt vad som står på hemsidan. Vore dock trevligt om kontroll på plats kunde motbevisa de nuvarande värdena :)

Hej! Du har taggat payment:cash=yes på biljettkiosken vid ingången. Enligt Lisebergshemsida är parken kontantfri. Stämmer inte detta eller hur fick du fram den informationen?

Hi,
The area is already mapped as an area covered with fine gravel. `natural=shingle` is only used for shingle beaches and the like. As such, I have removed the shingle area, but it would of course be nice if highway areas were rendered directly on osm.org, but this is unfortunately not the case.

Omg I’m so sorry, I was so certain I only included the European nodes but all slipped through…

Thanks for the great read! This node node/12109128256 however still has the nonsensical tag "historic=фунда", which of course should be changed back to "historic=stone". I haven't checked other objects but if you know you've accidentally changed them, please double check!
