Owego & Harford Railway

This railroad no longer exists between Owego to Candor and to Ithaca. It is the former Delaware Lackawana and Western Railroad it crossed the Susquehanna River with a curved bridge as you will notice on the map. Route 17 Interstate 86 was built on some of the old road bed going to B inghamton I believe at any rate the rail road is defunct from Owego at the Susquehanna River(there used to be a rail bride across the river, all the way to Ithaca NY where they had sloped inclined plane to traverse the hill ....

Elm Street ends right past house number 20. The old road was abandoned and is now private property.
