Notice you've adjusted the junction at Drayton Court. Unfortunately the roads are now misaligned with existing OSM data, as the Bing imagery seems out of alignment here.
Please can you use the OSMUK Cadastral Parcels overlay to help fix the alignment with the imagery offset tool before editing. :)

If a road/path is under construction it's better to be tagged highway=construction rather than footway + access=no. Makes it clearer that it's not yet open, with a single tag. Also means that's if a data consumer misses the access tag they can't be mispresented as actual paths.

Thanks for adding the cemetery - however I've had to fix it as it was out of alignment with the existing OSM data. Just be aware that Bing imagery is usually slightly out of alignment, so you should use the imagery offset tool in the background settings to move it to match the current data and/or the OSMUK Cadastral Parcels overlay :)

Fair enough - I haven't surveyed it so I was just going by the image here: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=404493401006027 and the wiki kerb=* - feel free to change it back :)

The section of Lade Braes Walk at the viaduct is a core path so cycling is allowed - but I've removed the bicycle=yes from the other bits.
node/1479431801 is a highway=crossing and unless something has changed recently it's also kerb=flush :)

I've changed all of the paths to highway=construction + construction=* instead, and removed the bridge from the canal as there's already a tunnel below - it's either one or the other :)

Hi, just want to check - is the contraflow cycle lane on the west or east side of Queen's Gardens?

Hi, thanks for adding the buildings here (and elsewhere in Ayrshire, great work!) :-)
However I couldn't help but notice you had drawn them from the Bing imagery. Unfortunately that makes them out of alignment with most of the OSM data and GPS traces.

If your turn on the "OSMUK Cadastral Parcels" overlay you can then use the imagery offset tool in the background settings to move it to match the blue lines. The "old" Bing imagery is now shown at Esri (clarity) and you can see how that more or less matches the cadastral parcels and OSM data.

Ah, didn't know if I'd mentioned it to you before (it's listed on the imagery_used if you edit it with it turned on). This zig zag path should probably also be bicycle=yes?

If you add the follow URL as a layer in JOSM you can see that path seems to extend right through the woods on either side :)

Yes the correct thing to do is to remove the name tag. Unfortunately osm-carto has a 3 year old issue open about this: https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/issues/3271

Don't know if you are aware but there's a background overlay you can enable called "OSMUK Cadastral Parcels" which will help with the alignment.
Thanks for adding the new Claypits paths btw :)

It's worth reading the following:
https://archive2021.parliament.scot/ResearchBriefingsAndFactsheets/S4/SB_14-30.pdf (page 10)

Cycling on a footway (pavement) is an offence under section 129(5) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984. Section 6(d) of the Land Reform Act 2003 exempts any land where access is restricted by another Act from the access legislation.

So the information at your link is true, but it applies to paths which are NOT pavements.

Of course it's unlikely you would get caught and fined by the police for cycling on this pavement. However we cannot mark it as bicycle=yes as that is not true. And it would also make people think there is a good cyclepath alongside the road...

Is the gate still there on top of the cattle grid?
I added it based on this and made them two separate nodes

Watch out, not all the major roads are paved - this one is cobbled (sett) ;) way/5048694/history

The bicycle tags were removed from the footway along the A702 because there is no evidence that cycling is allowed here. Has the situation changed recently?

Just a suggestion, it's better to use the "add a note to the map" feature rather than editing the map to add a note :) I've opened a note here with your comment: note/2786463

Hi, where is the locked gate on this road as it would be good to have it add - is it right at the southern end or nearer the farmyard?

Hi, welcome to OSM and thanks for the edits. For the buildings with two housenumbers it's better if these are mapped as their own node so each housenumber has an individual address. I've done this for all the ones in Clerwood Park :)

Hi, I've changed the gate you added to a cycle barrier node/1918962852 - might be worth adding a bicycle=* tag to indicate access, see the wiki page: barrier=cycle%20barrier
