There's 535 banks in the UK tagged with name=Santander and 1273 pharmacies with name=Boots (compared to ~40 and ~100 uses of operator). I think it's safe to say that name= is the established tagging practice. Not sure what's to be gained by using operator instead of name.

Am I missing something? These are all clearly names of the shops/POIs. Not sure why you've made the changes as they were tagged in the same way as they are elsewhere.

Right, but the national park boundary is already mapped here: relation/1957067 - thanks for changing it back. :)
Also, you should connect this "path" to the road - and since it looks like it provides access to buildings, it might be a track or driveway instead of a path?

Ok, though the chalet tag in OSM is different to a "chalet" elsewhere, as it refers to a holiday cottage: tourism=chalet

Just trying to find a better tag than tourism=accommodation, which is only used once in the UK.

I think both of these towns have community councils so they could be admin level 10 instead.
