ist für Nodes gedacht, an denen ein
Fußgänger / Radfahrer eine Straße queren kann, nicht für die Insel.

Für die Inseln selber gibt es nach meinem Verständnis landuse=traffic_island, aber auch
traffic_calming=island.

instead of
highway=residential
name=24 de Mayo
I see that you use JOSM, so please try the "Validation Results" windows (Alt+Shift+V) to find the errors
and try to fix them.

That's exactly why I don't like the tag.
If I got you right, you think that each part of a piste must also have a highway tag?
I see no reason for that, and most mappers in other areas don't think so as well.

You are probably right. The ways should be tagged piste:type=* . This is an often used tag in opposite to highway=ski or highway=piste.

done, please note that the ways are members of route=piste relations,
in my eyes there is no need to tag the ways with a similar information.

OK, thanks. I've added name=Tennängsvägen
to that part of W1040 and kept the attribute
highway=secondary. It doesn't look like
a motorway to me.
