Bit of a disagreement in cycling circles over the extent of the eastern section of the promenade cycle path. Arun Council state that .

"The approved cycle route in Bognor Regis runs from the western boundary of The Beach Estate near Culver Road Greensward, past Outram Road, Butlins and the pier and ends at The Waverley Hotel where cyclists must rejoin the road.

Would it be possible to investigate / review.

I don't believe the way down Flansham Lane is a cyclepath. I think it ends below the Flansham Lane roundabout.

Yes I cycled down there yesterday from Shripney Lane. I did not see any signs indicating a cyclepath. Facing north at the Shripney road roundabout, (where one crosses to Charles Purley Way) there is a sign on a bollard indicating "end of route". The way up to Shripney lane is effectively barred.
