The problem I had was that mapping services were routing along this way. It is not viable for bicycles especially when laden. Tag has been removed and replaced with smoothness = impassable, which for bicycles it is. This will ensure cycle tourists are routed through Helston.

Last time I was in this region it was possible to legally cycle from Helston to Porthleven through the Penrose Estate and along the cliff. Has this facility been withdrawn.

The issue report can be activated and modified in the iD editor. Right menu there is a tab with an exclamation mark inside a triangle.
In this case the report is stating " Area should be a closed area based on the tag disused:aeroway=runway" and "Areas must have connected endpoints".
