It's awesome that you added these buildings.

Do you know that #MapWithAI is available in the Philippines, and complement your mapping, and take advantage of Artificial Intelligence detections to add buildings more quickly?

Try it out: https://mapwith.ai/rapid

Salamat sa'yong pag-kumpirmá nitó. Puedeng markahan ang gusali ng building=warehouse , at lagyan pa ng ibang detalye.

Good to see you trying out #MapComplete's theme to Map all the trees! 😀

What do you think?

Thanks for adding these cell towers.

Instead of adding "Globe Cellsite" as a name, which strictly isn't true. You might want to specify the other attributes: MNC, MCC, gsm:cellid , if you know them.

You can add the tower's operator (e.g. a third-party, other than Globe)

Hey, thanks for continuing to improve OpenStreetMap.

I remember you mentioned how you like to add trees, and I wonder if you ever tried the MapComplete theme specific for that: https://mapcomplete.osm.be/trees ?

MapComplete is a theme-specific editor for OpenStreetMap, and probably one of the easiest editor to use in OSM.

Thanks for making the map "greener"! 😎

By the way, there's another way of mapping trees, especially tree-lined highways: osm.org/wiki/Tag:natural%3Dtree_row

Hope you find that interesting.

Congratulations on your first edit! There's no "approval" process in OSM, and your data will appear on the map soon after you've edited it.

I updated some of the tags you used. You may want to check out related wiki pages:
* osm.org/wiki/Tag:shop%3Dbeauty
* osm.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dclinic
* osm.org/wiki/Good_practice

In OSM convention, "clinics" are medical clinics. Your feature is probably better tagged as shop=beauty, based on the description I read from their social media page.

Thanks for improving OSM!

Welcome to OSM, and thank you for helping make OpenStreetMap b̶e̶t̶t̶e̶r̶ awesome.😉

Try to be more specific with your changeset comment. It should provide other mappers some idea about what you did exactly in the changeset.

Is there any reason you're mapping mostly trees in particular?

@user_5359, my reading is that it's supposed to be the administrative boundary for the village, albeit with the wrong tags.

I was asking for a clarification, because I strongly suspect it came from a source incompatible with OSM.

It's been a year, without any response, so I wouldn't object to having it redacted.

Thanks! I checked those coordinates, but they look doubtful, and doesn't appear to be a sea platform, though it looks like a small jetty.

The latter is a different lighthouse altogether.

Hey, if you're keen on mapping lighthouses, too, extra 👀 and more 👐 are welcome: https://maproulette.org/browse/challenges/9928 😃

Thank you! It indeed looks like a match.

I was relying on a secondary description that said lighthouse was "on a sea platform" of some kind, but this seems to be an accurate match.

Looks like a stray paste operation. Thanks for catching.

Thanks!

Hi there! Your changeset mentioned NAMRIA as the source for the administrative boundary you added.

As far as I know, the local OSM community doesn't have the permission nor has received any waiver to use this dataset.

Can you please elaborate your use of this NAMRIA data source?

Your local knowledge help create more awesome maps! Thank you.

You might want to add a more descriptive changeset comment (e.g. brief note about the edit(s) you made), that can be useful for your fellow mappers.

"ok" is a too terse, and doesn't provide any context about your edit.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM), and thank you for helping improve the map.

In OSM, the convention is to avoid abbreviations, so you might want to spell out "St." as "Street". The map layer will render the abbreviations, if necessary. For more info, see osm.org/wiki/Abbreviation

Hello, and welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Your changeset added "FORESTblock" as an operator of this forest. Have you seen the wiki for this key: osm.org/wiki/Operator which shows what is expected for this tag?

The year in the namespace is meant to indicate when a note was made: e.g. node/930617110
