Hi Eugene. Can you elaborate the bike lane placement ? The line representing S.B. Cabahug highway is drawn from A. Del Rosatio going to A.C. Cortes Avenue. So are you trying to say that it's on the left of the road? This is also a one-way road, are contra-flow cycling allowed? If that's the case, there's a typo in your tag, it should be "cycleway:left=lane" and not cycleway:left:bicycle=lane". Also, thanks for adding the bicycle=designated tag, which indicated mandatory use of the bike lane for cyclists.

| 101870395 | Thanks for catching this typo. Fixed my JOSM presets

Where the attribute of a feature is unknown (in this case, its name), it's unnecessary to add "unknown" to the name tag. In OSM, it's totally alright to leave attributes blank. Thanks for contributing to OSM.
| 101682565 | This is a good edit. Thank you. It is safe to remove the "fixme" tag, if you were able to resolve it, just like in this case. You can try adding the street names in the vicinity, too. :)

For more information, the Bicycle Wiki page in OpenStreetMap provides comprehensive information about biking-related tagging: osm.wiki/Bicycle In this particular case, you should add the tag cycleway:right=lane to the appropropriate segments of Ouano Avenue
Hi Eugene. Kindly refer to the highway=cycleway wiki for details about the use of this tag: osm.org/wiki/Tag:highway=cycleway The nature of the cycleway in Mandaue doesn't make this appropriate. Please use the tags we discussed in the session yesterday.

Hi Ace! In OpenStreetMap (OSM), changeset comments give your fellow mappers some idea about the edits you made. For example, "Added a street name," or "added a building", or similar. "ALKJNFVIHEWBFGOBQAIF" is a kinda hard to decrypt. 😅
Thank you for your awesome contributions!
Thanks for digitizing the riberbank. Next time, please consider splitting these into several parts to avoid overly-long ones that might cause potential issues when more than one people will try to edit the same riverbank, even if they're very far apart.

Thanks! Glad to know you're using Strava to improve imagery alignment.
Hi @Breithorn. May I know what you and the rest of the #adt team is using as source for the geometry alignments you've been doing in the Philippines?
Hi @jayson1225. Could you tell us the source of this barangay boundary you added?
This changeset incorrectly renamed this street from "Zamora Street" to "Zam Ora Street" (sic). This change will be rolled back.
This looks like it's more appropriate as a short name, rather than the alt_name tag.
I must've missed a split along the way. Will re-check. Thanks!
Thank you for your update.
Thank you for the update, but a link to a public website here chould suffice for now, to allow other mappers to know more about the effort. Also, if this is an organized mapping activity, kindly document your efforts to follow the organized editing guidelines of the OSMF: osm.org/wiki/Organised_Editing_Guidelines

Hi there. So, is this project still going on, including the field work validation?
Like I mentioned earlier, the names I changed was based on what's on the street signs in the area. As is visible in the Mapillary imagery. My practice is, if I find any "St." in street names, I spell them out. If I have information or imagery that shows that they're not on street signs, I remove them. Personally, I agree with @seav that "street" suffixes shouldn't be added, in the same way we follow the convention of not appending "barangay", "sito", "purok" to certain place names (with some exceptions)
Yes, they were removed. 1. That's the accepted convention. 2. The street signs from the Mapillary imagery doesn't indicate "street" as a suffix.
