| 36040225 | Hi there. I'm curious. Are you using GPX track logs *or* Birdseye imagery to trace features? |

| 35980725 | Hi there! Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Looks like you're off to a good start. Thanks for your data contribution. I can see you naming the buildings that you're tagging, but please don't forget to add an appropriate tag for its function. For example, a building with a name "XXX Restaurant" is simply another building in OpenStreetMap. You need to add the tag: amenity=restaurant so OSM, and other map rendered can identify them as such. | 35958053 | Hi JonelMagos! Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Looks like you're off to a good start. Thanks for your data contribution. The building you're tracing could be orthagonalized by pressing the "S" button while the object is selected. "S" will "square" and align the features. Right now, they look all off. | 35857917 | Hi there! Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Looks like you're off to a good. Thanks for your data contribution By the way, try not to use acronyms (e.g. "EVSU) when naming objects. Spell it out in full so that other people who are not from your locality can understand them, too. If you're looking for mapping tips, check out the wiki pages:

With regard to this changeset (and as mentioned in the Good Practices page), it is not necessary to repeat tag names when objects belong to a super feature (in this case, that's the university campus of Central Philippine University). For example, instead of naming a building as "CPU College of Engineering", you may tag them instead as:
The operator tag, in this case, can be dropped since they all belong to the same campus amenity. If you have questions, please feel free to respond in this change set comment, or send me an IM. |
