Your explanatory note is helpful, but you may also consider these tags: denomination=latin_catholic + diocese=personal_ordinariate_of_the_chair_of_saint_peter

Thank you for that! It is a small, but very informative museum. And the staff was friendly and helpful. :)

I used to collect stamps when I was a kid. ;)

Perhaps you were thinking of addr2:street, rather than addr:street2 here?

Hi A. I have a few comments for this changeset.

The building=school tag you added need not be added on the school grounds. You can trace and tag the 4 other individual schools building separately.

A concise alternative to an FB url is to simply tag it like contact:facebook = pnhs.depedbataan

This is awesome! Thank you for adding details and helping improve the map of your favorite neighborhood. Sharing local knowledge is the best kind of mapping. :)

If you're keen to keep in touch with local mappers, there are a number of community channels you can try: osm.org/wiki/PH

Glad to see you're still mapping, and I hope you're having fun.

Yes.

Good luck with the initiative!

Thankfully, there's Mapillary imagery available. I checked a few POIs in the area, and added fixmes. The names are descriptive, rather than the actual shop name -- but I didn't add them because I don't have the proper diacritics for the characters.

Yes, and the OpenStreetMap community is also interested in knowing whether the source and the license of your dataset is compatible for use in OSM.

It would be helpful if you can be more specific about your sources.

146013185

I'm certain that some folks from the community will find it interesting.

I agree with your observation that there's a large gap between urbanized areas and rural towns, and this really boils down to not having **local** mappers who can improve the map.

Anyway, could you elaborate about the source of your "jeepney" dataset?

Hello Vincent. How are you? Welcome to OpenStreetMap!

I'm curious about what you're trying to do here, and maybe we, in the local community can help you achieve what you're trying to do?

We have different channels listed here: osm.org/wiki/PH, in case you'd like to reach out, or have questions.

Ah, thanks for adding the wiki then. I definitely mapped these before you created the page. :D

I updated the wiki page to reflect the concepts of the original proposal page, because it was looking too much like it's just an "airport lounge" when that wasn't the intent.

133234751

I did have some doubts about that tag, but its wiki page describe it for **or elsewhere**: osm.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dlounge

More importantly, the original proposal describes it as "a comfortable waiting/recreational area" for customers and **not limited to airports**, which doesn't appear in the current version of the wiki: osm.wiki/Proposal:Lounges

Welcome to OSM, and kudos for the valuable work! Thank you for helping create a better map on OpenStreetMap.

For naming features, our practice is to avoid abbreviations, so the names you added, for example, should be "Filbert Street" rather than "Filbert St".

Depending on which map layer you might be using, the map renderer will take care of the appropriate abbreviation for you.

If you're keen to reach out or know fellow mappers, check out the various community channels : osm.org/wiki/PH

Good to see this familiar OSM still contributing in the region.

Kudos Totor! :)

Hello @Anim Mouse.

Thank you for checking this out. I noticed that tags already had name:left and name:right, but remembered the wiki convention for this incorrectly.

The former street name has been restored.

For features like this, the operator or brand is a helpful information to add.

That's awesome! Thank you, and welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM).

The convention for mapping is we leave out place/branch names out of the feature name. I'll edit this for you, so you can follow what I'm saying.
