You Should refer to the highway end sign at there. Also, tunnel areas starts at exit 2 (South Direction of route 2).

Just like Lung Kui Road you edited yesterday. Refer to that concept, although Lung Kui Road can't reaches the main road lanes, still it is labeled as trunk link. So same case in Lei Yu Mun Road.

Ok let me explain it further. Lei Yu Mun Rd is a part of route 2, that is trunk road, so the link roads towards lei yu mun road should be trunk link. But the link road at the right was tagged as motorway link. That make me confused. Motorway Link is for roads that links towards motorway or tunnels. But that part of lei yu mun road is not include in the highway part, and when the link road reaches route 2 the highway part has been ended. And about the link road at the right side, it is a link road for going to lei yu mun road. Although this road can't reach the road to Eastern Harbour Crossing, still this road can reaches the trunk road.

I just know that link is for the road for connecting highway/tunnel. But in this case before sinopec it is trunk road(main road), not link road. So I think it should be like that. I know your concept is correct in logic, but then I can't understand why the sign of tunnel areas is put near sinopec but not near tim fuk road.
