| 165961724 | Can you explain why you deleted a valid parking area in this changeset? I can personally verify that the parking area still exists here. way/1108010434 |

| 165961267 | Please don't delete existing roads on OSM and redraw them anew. Please just modify the existing roads by adjusting their geometry or changing their tags. It is against OSM good practices to delete existing map elments and redraw them anew. Please help preserve the history on OSM by modifying existing map elements instead of deleting them and redrawing them from scratch: osm.wiki/Keep_the_history For the service roads you deleted in this changeset, you could've just split the service roads and retag one section of them as highway=service + service=parking_aisle (To split a way in the iD editor, click on the way, right-click on one of the nodes of the way where you would like to split the way, click on the scissors icon (the Split option), and it splits the way. You can also split a way by clicking on one of the nodes on the way and then pressing X on your keyboard to split the way). You can visit this FacilMap link of this changeset to see which roads you deleted: https://facilmap.org/#q=changeset%20165961267 In the future, please make sure to comply with OSM good practice. A map works best when participants agree on a code of conduct. The "Good Practices" are guidelines that will increase the quality and value of the map data without any additional effort. I highly encourage you to read the OSM Wiki article on Good practice before you continue mapping on OSM: osm.wiki/Good_practice |

Public communication between mappers is crucial to building trust. Edits of people who never respond may be treated as less trustworthy. Unresponsive users who continue questionable edits despite being contacted multiple times first get a warning (so-called 0-day block), then progressively longer blocks on their account.

| 176769091 | Why did you delete a valid road behind R&R Market? I can personally verify that the road still exists: way/737322981 If the road behind R&R Market still exists, then you could've spilt the way and tagged one section of the road as highway=service + surface=unpaved. (To split a way in the iD editor, click on the way, right-click on one of the nodes of the way where you would like to split the way, click on the scissors icon (the Split option), and it splits the way. You can also split a way by clicking on one of the nodes on the way and then pressing X on your keyboard to split the way.) Please do not delete existing valid map elements on OSM and redraw them anew. It is against good practices on OSM to do that. Please just modify the existing map elements by adjusting their geometry or changing its tags. You have been warned about this numerous times, yet you still have not complied with OSM good practices.

| 176610084 | Same thing as the other comments I left in several of your changesets. Please don't delete existing map elements and redraw them anew. It's against good practice on OSM to do that (Please see: osm.wiki/Good_practice#Keep_the_history). It's better to just modify the existing elements by adjusting their geometry (adding or moving nodes on the elements) or changing its tags. For this, you could've just expanded the geometry of the existing industrial areas that you deleted in this changeset: way/879874911 and way/879874913 You can visit the FacilMap link of this changeset and you'll see that you deleted existing industrial areas and redrew them anew: https://facilmap.org/#q=changeset%20176610084 Please see this OSM Wiki article on keeping the history: osm.wiki/Keep_the_history
Can you explain what you were trying to do here? Thanks. |

| 176309983 | Hello TransAct-Aline, aren't you the one behind the OSM account "TransAct-AS" that got blocked the other day? (I'm just curious)

| 164057264 | I also saw in this changeset that you moved the traffic signal nodes from the stop lines to the intersection nodes (I can see that in the FacilMap link in the previous comment in this discussion): node/3717639460

| 162034767 | Changeset partially reverted because it deleted valid lane guidance for Patton Drive. This changeset merged the Patton Drive ways from the Walmart parking lot to North Franklin Street, causing incorrect lanes and turn:lanes tagging. This error would also be seen in JOSM (Java OpenStreetMap) with "Lane and road attributes" enabled in "Map Paint Styles", where you would see that the number of lanes on the way doesn't match that for each section of the road seen in aerial imagery.

| 161807846 | I also reconnected the ways to their respective nodes that you deleted in this changeset in a follow-up changeset: changeset/174662094 |
|
| 161807846 | Changeset partially reverted because it moved the eastbound Peppers Ferry Road Northwest ways to the center of the road between the turn lanes and the main lanes when there is a placement tag on those ways.

| 162596452 | You also deleted valid retail building geometries from New River Valley Center and redrew the entire building. What is the point of deleting those valid buildings and redrawing them from scratch? There's no need to do that. Just modify the existing building geometries, outlines, or tags instead of deleting the buildings altogether and redrawing them anew. This helps preserve the history on OSM. It would be good to take a few steps to preserve this history. |

| 162596452 | Hello iismitch 55, what was the point of reworking this mall? You deleted valid mall building geometries and redrew them from scratch. Please don't do that. It's against good practice on OSM. If you really want to "rework" buildings, then please just modify their geometry by adding or moving nodes on the building outlines or changing the building tags instead of deleting the buildings altogether and redrawing them from scratch. Please keep the history on OSM. Per the "Keep the history" section of the OSM Wiki article on good practice, it states:

| 164057264 | I saw in this changeset and some of your other changesets that you deleted some map features, such as roads or buildings, probably without checking their editing history, changeset comments, or their source tags; or maybe you did but chose to delete them, probably because you thought that you might not need them or might not like them. We know that not everything is needed by everyone, but you should not work the other way around and remove map details that someone else added just because you do not need it, you think it's stupid, or the validator ordered it so. Please leave existing valid map details as they are, regardless of whether you might need them or not, or whether you may like them or not.

| 164057264 | Also, before modifying any elements on OSM, please check their editing history, changeset comments, and source tags. You may see why the original editor mapped the element or mapped it the way it is. A feature may have been mapped based on a recent survey in person or more recent aerial imagery. Per the OSM Wiki article titled "Keep the history", it states: >"Before making significant changes to major features based on aerial imagery or past knowledge, check their history, changeset comments, and source tags. A feature may have been mapped based on recent survey in person or more recent aerial imagery. Previous editors may have valuable insights to offer on why things are currently tagged the way they are."
