from here there are 22 steps down from the road, then a ramp of a few metres to the path going along.

There is a path here quite straight down the hill from very slightly to the South of the Westward seat, to very slightly North of the Eastern seat.
Both the seats have been here for several years. The path has been here a lot longer.

There is a seat here facing the trees.

Looks like a lot of test trenches here for another huge housing estate :(

There is an unrestricted paved footpath from here down to Dale Street

The path splits into two here the RH one goes to the end of Neville Road, the LF one goes a few metres then right angles to Dale Street

This is not a continuous flight of steps.
From Beacon Rd. there is a ramp up about 60M before the first steps. There are then 48 short flights 3-4 steps at first, then in 5s. The flights are about 6M apart. Near the very end thre is another ramp of about 20M, Finally there are 4 well spaced steps.
Most of this is clearly visible on google maps.
