Hi!

I’m Feet and Inches, currently based in Iowa. I found OSM in the summer of 2024 and have been editing since. I tend to focus on the three places I’ve lived - Waterloo/Cedar Falls, IA; Albert Lea, MN; and Fargo, ND. I also occasionally edit based on notes or Maproulette challenges, which could be all over the place.

I’ve also recently started contributing street-level imagery. I figured that, hey, my dash cam is already recording it anyway, so why not share it? I hesitated at first, but when some others said that even my grainy footage is still useful, I’ve started trying to cover all the roads in town. I can upload video clips directly to Mapillary and do that first. Then I have to do preprocessing manually for Panoramax, so I tend to upload there later. I’d like to get a 360 camera eventually and basically cover all of town, but my current bout of employmen’t [sic] makes that cost-prohibitive at the moment.
