If I am exiting Marine Road in Mount Evelyn, & need to travel North along Swansea Road, Open Street Map directs me to drive South a short distance, then do a "U" turn before heading North.
In practice, you can exit Marine Road, & turn right to head North, right at that location.

Flinders ave hose all the way to this mark and dosent Finnish where it is now

There exists a median strip here that prevents traffic from turning across oncoming traffic. there are also U turns forbidden at each end. centred on the intersection about 30-40 metres long.
