Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, CA. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

It appears that you're adding a business to OpenStreetMap that is likely a person's home-based business. This does expose you to certain privacy concerns, although you do include the same address and other personally identifiable information on your website. If you have a separate office, it would be wise to add the business at that location instead.

With all that being said, most of the edits looks good except for the opening_hours. OpenStreetMap unfortunately has a terrible UI for correctly setting the opening hours! I'd recommend using the EveryDoor app or StreetComplete app which both have a much better editor to update the opening hours.

Happy mapping!

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, CA. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

Your edits seem fine since the area does in fact look cleared from satellite imagery.

It looks like this whole area is undergoing a fair amount of transition. It looks like this site may eventually be a place with further development, so I guess it's fine to keep it empty until some construction starts to happen.

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, CA. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

I see that you're adding various features to OpenStreetMap, which is great! It does look like there are a few places where there have been duplicate nodes or ways that have been added. I see that there was already one changeset made to combine these duplicate entries. It would be a good idea to continue combining a few things to make sure there is just one feature.

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, CA. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

It looks like you're trying to change the name of a business at a particular building. I'm assuming this is because the previous business at the building no longer exists there.

The changes made all seem to make sense! I fully expect that various mapping providers will automatically notice this change and show the Sacramento Furniture Store as being at this address now.

The only issue is that the changes to the "source" tag looked better on the first attempt when it was set to "local knowledge". This value has particular meaning as noted on this wiki page: source=*

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, CA. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

I see that you're adding a bunch of bike lane information which is great! I think the only tip I can give you is that you don't need to worry about adding bike lane info for each side on one-way streets except in very special situations where bike travel is allowed in the direction opposite to car travel.

See this wiki page for more info: cycleway=*

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, CA. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

I'm not super familiar with maritime mapping. However, there is an OpenStreetMap wiki page that has some explanation on mooring facilities: seamark:type=mooring

After reading the wiki, it seems like post or pile are somewhat interchangeable so this edit seems like it makes sense.

I see that you have extended the boundary of the university to include the North Garage. That seems to make sense to me! Nice edit!

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, California. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

I see that you added what appears to be your personal business to the map. This does raise some privacy concerns for yourself, but since you also appear to list this address on your website, perhaps it is intentional and something you are ok with. If you have a dedicated office or suite at another location, it may be more appropriate to add the business at that location instead.

I also see that you have used the editor built-in to the OpenStreetMap website. I believe you may have entered in a lot of correct information in the "Feature Type" and "Fields" sections, but then directly edited the values in the "Tags" section to make more sense to a human. I'd highly recommend trying to use only the first two sections of the feature editor and not use the "Tags" directly if you're just starting out with OpenStreetMap. The "Tags" each have a special meaning and are mainly meant to be read by computers. Fortunately, it looks like another mapper has already corrected most of these things for you.

All the modifications you have added look great! I didn't even know that the indoor/outdoor tags could be used in this way until I read up more on the OSM Wiki Page about Climbing: osm.wiki/Climbing

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, California. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

This review is mainly about all of the awesome foot paths that you've added. These have been added in high detail which is great! The only area for improvement could be to make sure that the paths are connected thoroughly to the rest of the street/pedestrian network. This will help trip planners be able to plan walking trips properly with not only the paths within the school but also outside of the school too.

In particular, the "Back Entrance Walkable Pathway" could be extended to meet the nearby sidewalk. But then it would be also good for the intersection at Arizona & Midwick to have some crosswalks added too. That way, a walking trip along Midwick to the school would properly utilize the crosswalk, then the back entrance pathway.

Hello there. I see that you've been doing some edits in the Santa Cruz area, so maybe you know more than me.

I saw that in this changeset you recreated the Redwood Lodge Road bridge over the North Branch Soquel Creek. I intentionally removed earlier this year since it was destroyed during the heavy rains: https://twitter.com/CALFIRECZU/status/1612927620106317829/photo/1

I haven't seen any indication online that it has reopened and the Santa Cruz County Maintained Road Advisories still lists this as closed: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/09f637a4d84946edbb5aab283766c9de/

Unless you know something I don't, I think it may be best to keep the bridge removed until it can be confirmed as repaired.

Hello, I'm a mapper that frequents the Wenatchee area. It looks like you have requested a review, so I'm giving this a review!

I actually was the first to create the construction area for this subdivision back in this changeset (changeset/91266260), so it's cool to see others improve the area.

The buildings you have created all look great!

If you wanted to, you could improve on this by adding additional information about the buildings like the address of each house. Also, the latest satellite imagery seems to show that nearly all of this area is no longer under construction. Therefore, the construction area could be converted into a residential area.

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, California. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

This new trail addition looks great!

If you are interested in a more complex way to improve this, you could add this new path to be part of a Hiking Route Relation. See the OSM Wiki documentation about Hiking Routes here: route=hiking. These hiking routes relations show up in many maps such as this one: https://hiking.waymarkedtrails.org/#?map=13.0/37.8362/-121.8947

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, California. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

It appears that you have added a new road on Treasure Island that is next to a road that is marked as being under construction. This new road is marked as being open to traffic. The new road is also marked as a more prominent classification than what the under-construction road was marked as.

I am not very familiar with this area and it appears to be undergoing construction so conditions may not appear like they are on satellite imagery. If you personally visited this area, it would be great to add a source to your changeset noting that you did a survey.

Given the proximity of this new road to the one marked as being under construction I kind of wonder if the road marked as under construction should just be converted to no longer being under construction if it has been constructed and is open. The alignments could also be adjusted if needed.

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, California. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

I will admit that I have no clue about powerline voltage. That being said, since I don't have a clue about it, this changeset and others could really be improved if you added a source to your changesets (see OSM wiki about this: source=*#How_to_use_on_changesets).

When you add a source, you can say how you figured out the voltage of these powerlines. Perhaps you are referring to some kind of other map that shows these voltages. In that case you could provide a link to that map.

Hello again! I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

It looks like you've started from scratch and simply changed this area to be of a farmland type. This is fine as it is.

However, I do see that all of the other tags were removed. The address tags did provide useful information as did the name. Information about the name and address would actually add value to this map. I'd recommend adding those back as you see fit.

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, California. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

In general, some roads may not need to be explicitly marked as being bikeable. I'd recommend reading the OSM wiki page about "OSM tags for routing/Access restrictions" osm.wiki/OSM_tags_for_routing/Access_restrictions.

In general, certain road classifications have certain default access restrictions that are generally believed to be what routers should interpret. Of the roads that you marked, it appears that it merely confirms what the default expectations are in the US.

Hey there! I'm a local mapper from Scotts Valley, California. I see that you requested a review of this changeset, so I'm giving it a review.

You have added a lot of great and mostly correctly formatted information about this business. However, the "image" tag appears to be an email address, so the "email" tag should be used here instead.

Also, since this business appears to be located within a large building, I would recommend also adding information in the "Unit" field and potentially even add the "addr:floor" tag to indicate which floor the business is located on.
addr:floor=*

Thanks for your contributions to OpenStreetMap!
