Und zum Thema Satellitenbildern: Ich bin meist zu bequem das anzugeben, aber ich verwende regelmäßig die gemeinfreien Sentinel-2 Satellitenbilder von der EU: https://github.com/sentinel-hub/sentinelhub-py
Ich habe mir einen Skript geschrieben, der mehrere Szenen herunterlädt, zusammensetzt, schärft ("Pan Sharpening") und zu meinen auf localhost laufenden GeoServer ( http://geoserver.org/ ) hinzufügt. Dieser stellt einen TMS-Dienst zur Verfügung, den ich bei JOSM eingetragen habe.

Die Sentinel-2-Bilder sind zwar nur sehr unscharf, aber frisch eingeebnete Betonoberflächen leuchten weiß hervor. So habe ich die Abrisse und die Solaranlage identifiziert.

great that you are extending the Pennsylvania forests. But please try out the JOSM editor from https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ . With iD its much more difficult to get landuse relations with outer & inner roles right.

Weil das dichter Wald ist könnte man hier höchstens mit Winteraufnahmen arbeiten. Da wo der Pfad durchblitzt liegt er weit daneben. Kein realer Pfad ist so zackig wie es jetzt gemappt ist.

I haven't used Bing, but rather some newer imagery. I don't remember whether it was DigitalGlobe or Mapbox. I could clearly see, that the track runs way off the mapped one.
