The little building here is Hodson's Folly, which people often ask the name of as they go along the river.

I asked too, and checked OSM in vain. I now know only because someone put up a sign on the site campaigning for its preservation. Apparently the space next to it is an old ferry landing, and accross from it the old women's bathing ground.
