Salt Valley road can easily be traversed by most sedans and any SUV, as long as it is dry. No 4x4 required when dry and no issues with clearance. It is basically a good gravel road.

Easy to follow it out as an alternate exit as it comes out on highway 191 just north of Moab. You can also follow it further north to the interstate.
