Yes. They're duplicating Duplicating data leads to confusion & errors.There are already crossing nodes on the road centre-line.
The centre-line represents the full road width. Addition tags such as ref or the explicit 'width' indicate, to renderers, how wide the road should be displayed. The node on the way already represents the full width of the road.

It's seems strange they'd render at node points. Split them to see if it sorts it. Ta.

Can you show me where it flags railway=platform?

I was aware it's location, I was check to see if you'd mre detail than a guess from serial imagery.
Is it a place where MoD personnel currently board a train?
If it is disused it shouldn't be tagged as a train station
