There are 2 Costcos and 3 Canadian Tires listed as being in Nepean When a municipality dissolves it only means the municipal government changes not the name of the area . The airport businesses use Gloucester , The term City of Ottawa refers to the area of government not an actual place and when the City of Nepean was dissolve the municipal governance dissolved not the actual place

Nepean and other areas of Ottawa are still in use and even the City of Ottawa and Canada Post still use Nepean
