Do not delete existing features jsut for your golf game.

Do not add descriptive names like "Hole 11" to a golf hole. Just using the ref and having ref=11 is the acceptable way.

I'm familiar with Osmose. I'm used to people just clicking through to "hide" the errors or "resolve" it, such as road/water crossings that aren't done with care. lol

If you're going to add buildings, at least make sure they are 1) squared using "q" and 2) resemble what is actually in the aerial imagery.

On more thorough exam, yeah, what you did looks correct. Just removing it from the node itself. I'll assume you checked to see that the ways have the appropriate tags that you are removing?

Is there a reason you deleted a bunch of tags? For example, you removed permissive and private tags from a parking lot, each one seems valid.

Do not create fake "islands" by having an area fold back upon itself. Use multipolygon relations.

Areas where this has been done have been cleaned up accordingly.
