"Funding secured for $5.7m Amy Gillett Bikeway extension
Stage Four of the Amy Gillett Bikeway, stretching from Mount Torrens to Birdwood, is moving forward following a funding agreement with the Adelaide Hills Council.

The Council has committed to constructing stage four with a combined $5.7 million funding package from Federal and State Governments, each contributing $2.6 million, along with a $500,000 contribution from the Council itself.

This extension project will lengthen the Amy Gillett Bikeway by approximately 6 kilometers, connecting Mount Torrens at Oval Road to Birdwood at the intersection with Onkaparinga Valley Road."
