Unclassified roads are meant to connect between two villages or neighborhoods. highway=unclassified. You can use "residential" roads inside village.

mdmahir, this changeset completely replaced English name of Adirampattinam to Tamil name. You can use "name:ta=* " to localize in Tamil language. It'd be difficult to search the town by someone.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I appreciate your mapping efforts. If you are a beginner, please go through http://learnosm.org/ tutorials. In this changeset, you've created a building feature which covers two countries Nigeria and Cameroun.

I have read your answers in forum. I agree to your point that Hindi is the official language of Hindi speaking states but as far OpenStreetMap localisation concerned all along these many years is English is followed. It's convention that We as Indian community followed.
Coming to your point on South Indian languages, first try to contribute whole as Indian community not as South, North, East or something else. (And you don't need to bother about "localizing" South languages).

The European countries you've pointed are different from India. You can't compare them with India where there are 22 official languages recognised.

Check this one way/600555929/history#map=19/17.16079/79.62568 and beside buildings which are duplicated. As you are using JOSM older version, try to update and run validation before you submit to OSM server.

Also, it'd be good if your profile say for which team/organization you're working for.

Please check previous discussions here changeset/59350153#map=7/15.214/76.145. This changeset replaced many default English names of UP with other features like Wikipedia.

Hi hydraserp,
I see you are localizing the default "name" tag. Keeping English names as a default name tag is what Indian OSM community agreed upon. Please use name:language=* for localizing city/town/village names.
