This boundary line is the course of the Lickney Stream

Originally known as Skillicorn's House, this was the home of Philip Moore Callow Kermode ("PMC" Kermode), the father of Manx archaeology and first director of the Manx Museum. His sister, the noted Manx poet Cushag (Josephine Kermode) lived here with him as his housekeeper.

There is a "tiki hut" hereabouts, which is used by the bowls club. It was prominently featured in a series of tourism posters in the 1950s. I spoke to one of the senior members of the bowls club, and he said it was 130 or so years old, built around the 1880s. If so, it's contemporary with the park itself.

There is a heritage plaque regarding PMC Kermode on the exterior of the building, on the left-hand side. It is currently obscured by a poorly placed planter hanging from the side of the building.

Heritage plaque for Bill Radcliffe (Illiam y Radlagh) hereabouts, placed on the bilingual street sign for Court Row. Bill was critical to the Manx language revival, spending countless hours recording native speakers and promoting the language.
