This forms part of the overall Swing Bridge structure, and is contemporary with it. It is termed as a "viaduct", and is included in the Swing Bridge's Registered Building entry.

There are historic plaques on either side of the beach entrance here - one for the original opening of the Mooragh Park and Mooragh Promenade, and the other for the reopening of the Mooragh Promenade after refurbishment (post-WWII)

Marked as "grass", but this very clearly wants to be a park. The bench is placed for a truly fantastic view of the Albert Tower. :D (Well, when the trees aren't overgrown, anyway!)
